The Medium is the Message

Media is an indispensable tool today. People use many social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and tumbler etc. People post their message or their thought to their social media page. The positive thing about media is that people can share, see and search information whenever they want, and easily use it to search. Also, they can enjoy a lot of different media even it does not exist in each other’s country. For people who work in marketing, social media is perfect marketing material to them. However, social media also has a negative impact because people use it too much, so face-to-face communication is getting lost. Also, some people like to show off their financial ability and beauty through their social media. I can see people everywhere only look at their smartphone. Media gives many abilities and possibilities these days but on the other hand, it is not really good to people. I hope people use moderation between the positive aspects and negative aspects of social media.

What is your reaction to the text you just read?

 This short story is very confusing. I could not find any relation between Bob Dylan’s song. The main character’s background is very vague and confuse. We do not know how he becomes a violence person and never gets into character’s mind. Really confuse the short story. Also, the structure of the short story is confusing because of the chapter start with  XII chapter.

What connections did you make with the story?

Unfortunately, I could not understand at all about the story. I know the Bob Dylan but never hear his song before. The only thing that I can make a connection is relationship and marriage. The two main character in a relationship but the male character is very violent and the female character has a smart brother and she has little of the humor. Also few reference of the Bob Dylan. 

What change would you make to adapt this story into another medium?

I think graphic novel is works to this story, because if this is movie or drama could be confuse but the comic book contain the drawing. The comic book is people easily to approach the subjects. Explaining by drawing is more easily understandable with that. 

Curating yourself: The Harry Potter series of books

Harry Potter is a very popular and famous story in the world. It has several theme parks, books, movies, and a musical. So many things have come out with the story of Harry Potter. It shows how Harry Potter is still popular for everyone. Most people read the Harry Potter books or at least saw the movies. Some people who are really big fans of Harry Potter go to England to see the Harry Potter theme park.  

I’m a really big fan of the Harry Potter series. When I first heard about Harry Potter I was in elementary school. Harry Potter was very popular in our school and the library book was out of stock. I watched the movie first. It was a brand new world, and it caught my eye. Harry Pottery is still a nostalgic fantasy and the best story to me. However, after watching all of the Harry Potter series, I felt that I did not fully understand all of Harry Potter. I still had many questions and did not know about many characters. But this happened to a lot of people who only experienced Harry Potter by movie, because the movie’s running time is not longer than 2 hours and it has to be not boring and show just the most important scenes. Because this happens, movies usually do not show as much detail as books. Therefore, few month ago, I started to read Harry Potter by book and it is slowly solving my problems.

The book’s contents has potential power because of its strong messages and stories. Harry Potter is about a normal young boy who achieves big things and kills the dark wizard Voldemort. When he struggles, his friends help him to survive even though some of them die. This literature shows the power of love, friendship, and bravery to people. This book is important to me because it is fun and also very powerful.  It also helped me improve my imagination. The contents was unique to me because it was my first time reading about wizards and the story touched my emotions. Harry Potter grows up lonely because his uncle and aunt neglect him. He survives many obstacles but still becomes a strong person. I think this is really good message to give to people. 

I think that it is important for people to read the books instead of just watching the movie. When I read Harry Potter by book, it is very easy to understand because of the detail in stories that describes situations, character’s thoughts, and details of a scene. Also, the books explain the situation that is not shown in the movie. Using my own imagination I can draw the image with book description and words. Personally, I love to read books before watching movies because I can compare with book and movie and my originally imagination and visual of the movie. Also, even if I cannot understand what is happening in the movie scene, I can guess and compare from book. I can know what scenes appear or not in the movie.

The book’s dependent effect is people can use their own imagination to set up their own movies and can know the detail of the books. A movie visually shows many things and catches people’s eye but the effect of a book is that it makes people creative and improves ourselves.

Game as a medium: The White Day

In Korea, we have White Day which is the same holiday as Valentine’s Day but the person who gives a gift is opposite. In Korea, on Valentine’s Day, usually women give chocolate to men. On White Day usually a man gives candy to a woman. This day is exclusively in Korea. I think people want both holidays to make the giving fair. The White Day game is a horror genre game that comes from a Korean game company. My first play of this game was when I was middle school. Me and my friend were really curious about this game and it seemed like the subject was love because of the title, but when we started to play, we could feel that something was wrong. 

This game is about the main character transferring from a different high school, and before he officially transfers to this school he falls in love at first sight with one girl. Her name is So Young. He grabs her diary that she lost, and he goes to school that night to give her the diary. After entering, he realizes something is wrong through weird event. Through completing many missions and going through many obstacles he can move to the next stage. Eventually, the main character solves the problem of the school’s curse. I think this game can be a good subject in literature, because always mystery and horror contents are successful and popular to people. The horror environment and feeling make people tense and scared. It is traditionally a horror story but the setting makes it more interesting. Setting the game in a school and a school that has curse is enough to make people interested. When I tried this game with my friends, the game’s structure, setting, story, and missions was very interesting. It was enough to be popular in Korea. Using their concept and story, this game could be made into very interesting literature. 

This game should be literature because it is memorable in a good way and a bad way. On the down side because of the game was a horror game, it made me scared. The bad guy is a security guard and the main character has to avoid him. The sign of the bad guy coming is the sound of a key chain jingling. Even though I do not play now, when I hear that sound I keep thinking about that moment of game. However, in a good way, I can think about when I played this game with my friends. We helped each other to solve the missions and bonded along the way. Therefore, because of these emotions and bonds this game should be considered literature.

Literature is very good tool for creating our own images in our own imagination. Using our own imagination from literature is a good way to let us create new settings of this game. Personally, I am someone who really hates horror, because I do not like the feeling of nervousness and tension from horror. Sometimes randomly the horror stays in my head. This game is the first and last game I will try. 

Sense 8

The Sense8  is a drama series from Netflix. This is about eight different people from different cultures and countries whose souls are connected and at the same time. Also, they connected their five sense, so they can share what they see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. Even their languages are automatically translated for each other. They fight for a questionable organization that tried to kill them. The reason why I started to watching this tv series is because a famous Korean actress is one of the main characters. I did not really expect this but it is a really interesting story and subject matter. I think Sense 8 has more potential as a tv series than if it was made into a movie or book. 

The eight different people are connected to each other by their souls, so when one of the people has a struggle they can connect to a different person who can fight well. In the tv series, it shows many different cities, places and peoples such as  South Korea, India, Mexico, USA, England, Kenya, and Germany. I think this is one of the reasons why the Sense 8 has a strong effect as a tv series. It has to show each different country’s culture and environment because that is how they are different. Also, it shows how they are connected. However, if this tv series is a book, it will be a little difficult to use your own imagination for a person who has not visited one of the countries. I have never visited India, German, Mexico, and Kenya so it is really hard to use my imagination to picture that situation of a specific place and how they are different. 

A movie is usually 2 - 3 hours long, and it has to show the entire story and visually during the runtime. However, I think 2 -3 hours is not enough to show the whole story for this series, because, the important thing is different countries and cultures and how people can connect and understand each other. A movie can show a place in a very short time but I think the audience will very confused. This series is how each character solves the problem and how they progress, which is very important so I think it should be a season series. 

An Asian woman appearing in foreign tv series is very rare to me, so I am really glade to see her in a tv series and I am proud of her. Even before I started this tv series, because of her I am really satisfied. 

Graphic Novel: Asterios Polyp

The graphic novel’s name is Asterios Polyp and the main character’s name is Asterios Polyp. The author is David Mazzucchelli who is a really famous cartoonist and illustrator. This is his first graphic novel and major work. He uses many different drawing skills to describe people. In the story, Asterios is very famous and popular architect but in his 50th birthday, a storm destroys his apartment. Accidentally, he loses everything that he made. The only thing he has is cash so he goes to New York to live a new life. When I read this graphic novel, many scenes are visually very impressive to me. 

Asterios Polyp is an architect-artist that creates and realizes new places and beauty using points, lines, and planes. He has a fancy career that wins an award many times, but his architectural drawings are never realized in real society. At the beginning of the chapter, there is a drawing of sixteen apples in different styles to show his artistic character. The drawing is a still life of apples but it shows simply realism drawing, surreal drawing, black and white, a drying apple, and a fragmented apple, etc. The word “apple” is only one but each different style of the drawing shows different meanings. 

The color of this novel is very impressive. It is not colorful and fancy. In this novel, color is in moderation, and the only colors that Mazzucchelli uses are red, yellow, and blue which represent Asterios's feelings and mind. When Asterios first meets Hana, the blue and red line connect to each other and fill out only two people. This represents that they destined to meet.  Also, when Asterios and Hana get in trouble, the line and color show how they cannot connect to each other. Hana’s side is filled out with red lines and it seems like a pretty detailed line drawing but Asterios's side is only a simple blue line drawing. It is the same space but it looks really different to each side. 

This graphic novel is completely different from a typical comic book. The graphic novel drawing is not an ornament of the story, it has same power of storytelling. The normal comic book shows one panel for one plot and drawing but this novel shows over one page a description of a character’s thoughts and feelings and detail of those feelings by drawing. Visually it is very impressive and has interesting color, structure, and drawings. 

Wes Anderson

When I first watched a Wes Anderson movie, it was “The Grand Budapest Hotel” because his movie color is very attractive to me. I chose the three movies “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” and “The Royal Tenenbaums” to compare to each other. While comparing his movies, I found out the character of his movies, so I will talk about color, symmetrical and center composition of shots, typography, characters, and slow motion endings.

Why do Wes Anderson movies make me happy and look so pretty? The answer is color. Most of the color in his movies is made by pastel tone that makes it look dreamy or inside a fairy tale book. Using blurry color, the director makes nostalgia for the past. I cannot tell the exact century of the color scheme, but this kind of color of pastel has a retro feeling. His color palette is very important in his movies with a fantastic shade of color and space, the audience loses the sense of time in his movies. His color schemes are different depending on the background in the movie. For example, “Moonrise Kingdom,” has a lot of green color because it has lots of forests and mountains.

In his movies, many scenes have a centered and symmetrical composition. Placing the character in the center of a room is a little uncomfortable to some people but it is very helpful to getting the audience to concentrate. The flat composition can seem boring but Wes Anderson overcomes this by color and a central structure. I really like the symmetrical shot with pastel tone color from his movies. It makes me comfortable.

He usually uses “Futura” font on the movie credits and property because this font is not bound by the flow of the time. This font is a really basic font and shows geometrical beauty. The wide range of fonts gives interesting rhythm based on classic handwriting. I think this font goes really well with the style of the movie because you cannot assess time in his movies. 

He likes to use dry humor and describe many people with flaws. It is also a defect among the wealthy and working-class sectors. The characters in his films were not perfect, but seemed to reflect  his childhood days when he was not constantly receiving a sense of togetherness. However, if the movie character has normal and universal ideals they will be really flat and not fun. The character who has flaws is more charming. In his interview, when he was turing 8 years old, his parents got divorced, and that moment was most crucial in his life. 

All of his movie endings are in slow motion except for “Darjeeling Limited.” I feel like while watching his movies  you are riding a roller coaster repeatedly, really fast, and then stop landing, and the ending is like slow and cool down moments. 

I am always inspired from his movies. The color and symmetrical composition is really beautiful and always attractive to me. For this comparison of his three movies, I learned many thing from him and his ideas. I need to watch all of his movies.

Interview with a Vampire

The first fantasy book about vampires I read was Twilight. In the book the description of a vampire is strong, beautiful, immortal life, never old, and hates sunlight. Those things are enough to make a romanticized vampire. By the way, it was a very different description than I had read first in a vampire history book. The original book was about vampires being monsters that eat human’s blood, and are dark, white, and look creepy.

The movie of “Interview with a Vampire” is dark and shows a vampire’s life. First, it seems like having a great life because they never grow old  and have an immortal life. Honestly, it is not because they have to eat live human blood as their food. Also, they cannot stay in one place as long they want because people will know their identity, and never growing old means vampires  cannot grow up. In the movie, Claudia is a young girl who turns into a vampire at a young age. Her actual age is over 50 so she always wants to grow up but she cannot. People associate the word vampire with a cool and great life but the reality is a lonely and cruel life. 

I love the “Interview with a Vampire” movie  because the costuming associated with the time period is really attractive to me, as well as the beauty of the vampires. It is enough to show a vampire’s life and the tone and mood is also perfectly matched. If I re-create “Interview with a Vampire,” I will do a more modern feel to match the current day which people can understand more. I would like to keep the mood dark and dreamlike to support the mystery around vampires. I would also make the ending happier because I think that the audience would like that more. The vampires are described as very powerful, but they are lonely, so I feel pity for them. I think that letting the vampire Lestat have a family of vampires would help make a happier ending. I would like to emphasize his struggles in creating a family because it shows a unusual part of a vampire’s life.

Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman

I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson’s movie. I was inspired a lot after watching ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel.’ He makes beautiful compositions, dreamy moods, and color themes. After watching his movie, I just fell in love with what he created. Before taking literature class I did not know that Wes Anderson brought many elements from Stefan Zweig’s book which is ‘Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman.’ Both the novel and the movie have many similarities between them. 

The characters of the movie, the old lady Madam C and M. Gustave, are the same as from the novel. In the movie, Wes Anderson did not put as much information as the novel about the Madame C but the novel describes how Madame C and M. Gustave met and how she came to the hotel. Stefan Zweig wrote the novel from the narrator’s point of view, so the reader can understand and know about not only her thoughts and feelings but also details about the situation. Therefore, I can draw the picture in my brain and understand easily. Stefan’s storytelling seems like a diary. He describes the date very specifically, as well as what situation and people surround the characters at that time. Also, the character of Gustave is same as the novel and movie. He is still charming, attractive and nice to people. Also, the narrator seems like a young writer in ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel.’ 

There is a lot of similarity between novel and movie. Through reading the novel ‘Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman,’ I recognized many parts similar with movie and Wes Anderson was inspired a lot from this novel and created his own version of the story. Stefan Zweig wrote many great novels but his life was very tough because of Nazis’s pressure, and he chose death. I’m really thankful to Stefan Zweig for writing such great novels. 

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao

Oscar’s life is a short and wondrous one. He was Dominican and American and people usually called him ‘Loser.’ He loved reading comic books and liked women but did not know how to treat women. People usually think that kind of person cannot have any relationship with a woman but that is wrong. Surprisingly, he had many experiences with women but those were not normal and successful. He was a man who lived with love and died with love. It seems romantic but in the story, it was totally not. His relationship was very non-traditional.

Fuku is the ancient curse from Dominican culture, and Oscar’s family had that curse before Oscar was born and continued to have it. Trujillo is the dictator of Dominica, and he was the Fuku to Oscar’s family, because Oscar’s family was one of the ones that received hurt from Trujillo’s despotic government, and Oscar’s mother’s family met tragedy. The father was sent to the prison and her mother and two sisters were dead. Also, Oscar’s mother lived with her side of the family but she was the victim of a lot of family violence. After she escaped from Dominica, she was raised in New Jersey, USA. She raised her kids by herself, she worked a lot for her kids even though was dangerous. This shows how she is strong as a mother and a woman. Oscar was described as a very weak person and man in the story because when a woman who Oscar fell in love with, she rejected Oscar’s love, and he decided to kill himself. He failed but this shows how he is weak and makes foolish mistakes. The mother of Oscar and Lola, who is Oscar’s sister, do sexual discrimination. Lola is a smart and pretty girl but the mother cares more about Oscar because he is the son and Lola is not and she wants Lola to take care of Oscar. Her action shows how different she thinks power relationships between men and women are, but reality is totally different because Oscar is weaker than the women. 

When I read this book, I felt really sorry for Oscar’s family. The end of the story is not a happy ending because Oscar chose love but because of that, his life did not end in a good way. As I said he is lived with love and died with love. In this book, the women show more power than men, because Oscar’s mother raised Oscar and Lola by herself and Lola was described as a very smart and strong woman. Also, Oscar has many struggles from women. This story shows men are not always strong and women can be strong. 

Feminism

Kate Chopin is a writer who represented women’s literature in the 20th century. “The Story of an Hour” is one of her writings, and it represents the position of women at that time. Many people think she is feminist and her grandson said about her opinion of feminists, “Kate was neither a feminist nor a suffragist, she said so. She was nonetheless a woman who took women extremely seriously. She never doubted women’s ability to strong.” As you can see, Kate had compassion for many woman. She was interested in the life of women and the struggles of how women find their identities. Therefore, her writing “The Story of an Hour” occupies an important position in women’s literature.

“The Story of an Hour” shows exactly the position of men and women. In the story the main female character Louise Mallard is described as Mrs. Mallard, not her real name Louise. It shows that married women cannot hold their name and have to be called someone’s wife or daughter. When she heard about her husband’s death, she saw the beautiful view of spring outside, but inside the room is full of grief and sorrow about her husband’s death. This shows how different visually and auditory the inside room’s atmosphere was from the outside room’s atmosphere, also those differences reflected her mind’s division. The view of spring represents her freedom in her life without her husband. However, she still feels fear of new life. When she said “Free, free, free!”, her life is totally changed from the past and she feels reborn without any emptiness and fear, and those feelings are express by her physical sense. Her reaction makes it seem like she doesn’t like her husband but this is not true. She loved her husband, but she felt free from the pressure society puts on women. The problem is an androcentric society with a patriarchal marriage and her husband seems like he tried to be a good husband with kindness purpose. She wants to refuse the social system’s pressure and rules, then wants to get her own inherent will. 

Feminism is a difficult and sensitive subject. Today, many people try to speak a lot about feminism and try to find women’s rights, but unfortunately society still weak about women’s rights. When women speak their opinion, men find them stubborn instead of strong. Kate Chopin’s many stories contain feminism, and she frequently got the question, “Why are women less free than men?” I did not know about the feminism and never felt anything about the issue before, but recently I got interest in feminism and I think I have to be getting interested about this issue, because I am a female. In this story, the main character Louise shows how her rights get pressure from society and how society’s rules limits on women’s rights, and these days still nothing has change. In this story, Louise’s feelings makes it seem like she is selfish and does not love her husband but her feelings represent one of the powerless women under the influence of society. I believe that men have never felt this before. 

Female Superhero

Most people describe the physical strength of a hero and heroine. Heroes and heroines always have to be strong and save people. The design of my female hero is not like a superheroine who has a super power. She is a normal person and does not have any super powers and is not physically strong like other heroes and heroines. However, her braveness and infrangible moral strength are enough to be a heroine. Her power is her ability to be decisive and to not hesitate in a moment of danger. She is Resolute Woman.

Resolute Woman has leadership and knows how to treat people well and to persuade others to do what is right. When someone is struggling or in danger, she rescues the person with her power. She knows what justice is and wants justice to be realized, as well to do what every superhero does and save people. I want for all people to know what is right and what is wrong, and to emulate my hero. My hero is respectful of other people’s rights and is considerate of others’ feelings. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and braveness can represent positive aspects of people to others. 

These days, I can see many heroes and heroines in our society. People jump into the subway tracks to save a kid, they help disabled people, and they volunteer for homeless people. I think a person who gives an answer to a person’s cry for help with courageousness and true heart is a hero and heroine. Anyone can become a hero or heroine for someone through a simple act. Merely they do not recognize it or do not know. My family is my hero because they always support me and make me happy. Resolute Woman represents the everyday hero and works tirelessly to right wrongs. She inspires those around her and proves that women are as strong as men.

True Grit

        I had never heard about True Grit before, but when I was watching this movie I really admired the life of Mattie, the main character. Mattie has strong confidence and is an active person, and she knows what she has to do. Her behavior can be seen as rude but really she just speaks her mind. I could see that she was claiming her right with confidence when she was bargaining for the horse and hiring the sheriff to catch a criminal. After watching the movie I just fell in love with her braveness but I could not be like her even though the period I live in is better than the one she lived in. 

In 1870, the western exploration period showed how cruel and confusing society was. Most people killed each other for survival without guilt, and the woman’s right was very weak. The only way to make money was to kill a wanted criminal like in a quest. During this time people focused on survival and there was very little morality. The western period is an example of a time when men were stronger than women and had more rights. In True Grit, two men describe a woman as weaker than a man and would not accept a young girl on their journey. However, Mattie is a young girl, and she got respect from two men who go the journey with her. The reason why those two men respect Mattie is that they can feel the grit of Mattie and accept her. A person who wants to get respect from other people needs to be brave and protect their own rights.

Today, still women’s rights are weaker than men’s and often women get an unfair deal like getting paid less than men, being used for sexual appeal, and receiving sexual assault comments. Unexpectedly it happens a lot everywhere. For example, some companies do not want to hire women because they might be pregnant and will have to take time off work which costs the company money. Today, a lot of women show their power and protest their treatment through the movement for gender equality. Many people support gender equality but the position of women still has not changed. Mattie represents strong woman figures facing obstacles and many women want to be like her. Women today need to be like Mattie and can not give up.

Pride and Prejudice

When I found out that Jane Austen’s, the author of Pride and Prejudice had its own movie, I fell in love with this author. Jane Austen was an introvert, a person who loved to stay at home, therefore, her novel were about marriage, family and dilettante life issues instead of social issues. My first impression of Pride and Prejudice was that it was similar to a Cinderella story, but it turns out it was not. That was my prejudice. This book showed various ways of how a woman and a man settle in their marriage. 

The original title of this book was called First Impression but the book publisher had rejected this title, so Jane changed it to Pride and Prejudice. In this book, a first impression is really important because the negative relationship started out based on Elizabeth and Darcy’s first impression. At first, Darcy was not attracted to Elizabeth but later he found that she was interesting. Elizabeth did not have similar feelings for Darcy; she could not erase the first impression that she had of him.  That was her pride. 

Elizabeth and Darcy’s relationship came into conflict when Darcy proposed to her. Effortlessly, she rejected his proposal because she did not have romantic feelings for him. She still thought he was a proud man. Later she changed her heart because Darcy wrote a letter to Elizabeth to clear any misunderstanding from him. After reading his letter, Elizabeth felt embarrassed. She looked at Darcy with jaundiced eyes and realized how she misinterpreted him. 

In the beginning, Elizabeth and Darcy were not often together and did not have good impressions towards each other, but the development of Elizabeth and Darcy’s marriage is very natural and not contrive. They set aside their negative feelings and started to acknowledge what their mistakes were and resolved what they misunderstood. 

It is difficult to change a person’s mind and point of views. The human relationship is very complex because people judge others by appearances and rumors. While reading Pride and Prejudice, I realized that a person who is prejudiced cannot see the truth. Nobody likes a proud person; therefore a person should be more considerate and loving towards others, to be likable. I wish people can be open minded so we can break this stereotype and look at a bigger picture. 

Prologue

Under the blazing sun, I remember wearing a tank top dress and thick cowboy boots that made my calves sweat while eagerly waiting for my mom. It had been an extremely humid summer and my anxiety seemed to make the heat intensify even more. To be honest, I was not sure of the reason behind my choice to wear the cowboy boots; perhaps I was trying to express my own unique style even though I was being stared at.

I was born in Guri, South Korea and grew up there before I entered high school. My mom told me that when I was young, I liked to be a unique and active girl; but as time goes by, I turned into a shy and timid girl. I believe there is some reason, but now I’m trying to change myself to be more active and not timid. My life in Korea is really memorable because I did not go to Korea for six years. Also, my friends and family are in Korea. I can still remember how I played with my friends and spent time with them. Someday, I hope I can visit my country.

My USA life started in Michigan. The town that I lived in was calm and not many Asians lived there. It was hard and tough to live in a new environment, but I had great memories. After two years, I moved to Fort Lee, New Jersey. This town is nearby New York and is half Korea town, so I feel much comfortable and I can visit New York easily. New York has various events that give me a lot of inspiration for art and makes me believe that there are many opportunities in the future so I can think more about being a design major.

I wasn’t planning on majoring in motion design at first. Before I applied to Ringling College of Art and Design, I didn’t know anything about motion design. I liked fashion and that is a reason why I started to do art. My mom influenced me when I was younger because she taught me how to layer the clothes and colors. My interest in fashion and design led me to attend the Art Academy in South Korea. After awhile, I realized that a major in fashion was not what I wanted to do in the future. I was still researching many artists and their styles, and trying to read as many articles from famous artists as I could. While I was researching about other art majors, I found motion design. I didn’t know about this major before, yet every class I take makes me love it more and more. In the future, I want my art to influence much more people so that they will understand my personal messages, and I plan on using motion design as my medium of choice.

The college life is tougher than I expected, but I’m happy to find what I really want to do. I’m really thankful to my family for supporting me and believing in my dream. I am still not sure for my future, but I want to enjoy my life.
